The biggest concern with the recent outbreak of tularemia is keeping pets from contracting the disease. Tularemia was recently discovered in Southeast Fort Collins, the Larimer County health department reported late Thursday. Tularemia is a potentially life-threatening bacterial infection that can be passed from sick animals to humans.
